World Cup summer on Collins: match days, cafecito in hand.

The 2026 World Cup is here, and Miami is one of the host cities, with 7 matches at Hard Rock Stadium from June 15 to July 18. Which means this summer, every cafe, lobby, and living room on the beach has a screen on and a strong opinion.

Match days in Mid-Beach

You do not need a ticket to feel it. The neighborhood watches everywhere: hotel bars, balconies, phones propped against cafecito cups at our counter. The block argues lineups in two languages and agrees on exactly one thing, which is that the coffee should be strong.

The match-day run
